I have now moved out of the most tasteless street on the planet, into somewhere less plagued by christmas lights and people driving along looking at them. I've also removed the camera from my father's possesion. He must ask me now if he wants to use it. And I've become rather fond of the "Sunset" mode. Perfect for taking pictures of christmas lights. We lacked telephone/internet over Christmas, so no excruciating phone calls to relatives we don't actually like, or in some cases, even know. It's a bit odd having Christmas in the summer, but I can't say I'm complaining...
